Erik Dunåker is a registered dietitian with a broad background in both clinical practice and communication. He has completed further training in critical thinking and source evaluation, sports nutrition, and nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and is well known within the Swedish dietetics community for reviewing and quality-assuring claims related to nutrition and health. Alongside his role at Yazen, Erik is a podcaster, lecturer, and fact-checker.
At Yazen, Erik works as Quality Manager, focusing on driving continuous improvement and strengthening the quality of care. He trains and supports colleagues, contributes to complex patient cases, and is responsible for routines related to weight loss and nutrition. Erik is also a member of Yazen’s medical leadership group, where he contributes to strategic direction-setting as well as ensuring high medical quality and patient safety.
